Assessment

Use the checklist to check if you have completed the gradebook, and final grades can be imported in Ugla.

Under assignments in the course menu, you need to check if:

All graded assignments have points. Incomplete/Complete assignments also need to have points.
Assignment groups have been set up, and the assignments arranged accordingly.
Assignment groups' weights have been defined. The weight is correct and in accordance with the information in the syllabus.
More than one assignment is in the same assignment group. All assignments in the same group need to have the same number of points to weigh the same.
Assignments that have no weight in the final grade have been set up with "Do not count this assignment towards the final grade" in the assignment setup, and/or these assignments are in an assignment group with 0% weight.
There are empty assignment groups (without assignments). Delete those.

In the gradebook you need to check if:

Grades are in accordance with the assignments' number of points. You can see the number of points at the top of the assignments column, e.g., "Out of 10", which means 10 is the number of points and the maximum grade for the assignment. In graded assignments, it should never say "Out of 0". If it says, e.g., "Out of 15", grades should be on the 0-15 scale.
In all grade cells, there is a grade, 0 or Excused (Incomplete/Complete counts as a grade). No cell contains a hyphen.
An exception to this is:
Assignments cells that don't count in the final grade. In these assignments setup, "Do not count this assignment towards the final grade" has been marked, or they are in an assignment group with 0% weight. In these assignment cells, a hyphen is OK.
An assignment group has a rule about ignoring students' lowest scores. If so, you need to give 0 where there is no grade. Otherwise, the assignment group total and the final grade will not be calculated correctly.
A student did quit the course, but their name is still in the gradebook give 0. After importing final grades to Ugla, you need to change the grade to "Absent". The same applies if a student does not attend the final exam.
All grades have been posted.

If all of the above is OK, students' final grades will likely be correct, and you can import them into Ugla. To avoid any doubt, however, it is recommended to calculate the final grade of a few students and check accordingly.
